Terms of Service

1. The service

ElJefe provides a personal receiving address, parcel storage, consolidation, repackaging and international forwarding through third-party carriers. Carrier transit times are estimates, not guarantees.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. One account per person or business.
• Keep your credentials secure; we strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication.
• We may require identity verification (KYC) for high-volume accounts or where carriers require it, and may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

3. Wallet and payments

• Services are paid from your prepaid wallet. Deposits are processed by licensed payment providers.
• Wallet balances do not earn interest and are not a deposit account. Unused balances can be refunded to the original payment method on request, minus any provider fees.
• Chargebacks on deposits that were already spent may lead to account suspension and recovery of the amount.

4. Shipments and customs

• You are the exporter/shipper of record and must declare contents and value truthfully. See our Prohibited Items Policy.
• Duties and taxes are payable by the recipient unless a DDP service is purchased.
• Final charges are based on the greater of actual and volumetric weight measured at our warehouse.

5. Liability

Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the carrier's liability terms plus any insurance purchased, up to the declared value.
